INGREDIENTS:



INSTRUCTIONS;

  1. First, fill disposable pastry bag with buttercream icing. Snip tip of bag and draw circle on outer edge of round cookie. Make dot of icing in center of cookie.
  2. Then, turn cookie upside down into bowl or plate of rainbow nonpareil sprinkles.  
  3. And then, turn right side up. Dot bottom of one gumdrop candy with icing. Place in center circle of cookie.
  4. Next, say Yummy! and eat your adorable cookies.


For ButterCream Frosting: 
INGREDIENTS;

  • 1 cup imperial brand margarine or butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup Crisco brand vegetable shortening 
  • 2 pounds confectioners' sugar (about 7 1/2 cups)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 3 tbsp whole milk


INSTRUCTIONS;

  1. First, combine the margarine and crisco in the bowl of an electric mixer; using a paddle attachment, beat on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  2. Then, add half of the confectioners' sugar and continue beating on low speed of an additional 2 minutes, or until the mixture is creamy, scraping the sides of the bowl with rubber spatula as needed. 
  3. Next, add the remaining confectioners' sugar, vanilla, and milk, and beat until the frosting is creamy and fluffy, about 2 minutes more. Add any food coloring at this time, if using, and beat on low speed until light and fluffy. 
  4. And last, Use immediately or store in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 30 days.

INGREDIENTS;

  • Round sugar cookies (The Recipe in Above)
  • Gumdrops or Dots candy
  • Nonpareil rainbow sprinkles
  • Buttercream icing


INSTRUCTIONS;

  1. First, start by drawing two circles on a round cookie, one on the outer edge and one in the center.
  2. Then, hold cookie upside down and dip into a bowl of rainbow nonpareil sprinkles.  Sprinkles will attach to the icing.
  3. And the, flip cookie around and pipe a small dot of icing into the center of the center circle.
  4. Next, attach gumdrop or Dot to icing.  
  5. Last, stand back and admire your adorable sombreros!
